How do I send christmas cards to injured military people?

I heard that Walter Reed does not take cards for soldiers. How do I send Christmas cards to injured soldiers or soldiers in Iraq? Please give links to organizations that do this if possible, or addresses to mail it if you can. I have a large group of children who would like to do this as a project. Thanks. How do I send christmas cards to injured military people?'Any Wounded Soldier' Cards Undeliverable

Walter Reed Army Medical Center officials want to remind those individuals who want to show their appreciation through mail to include packages and letters, addressed to "Any Wounded Soldier" that Walter Reed will not be accepting these packages in support of the decision by then Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Transportation Policy in 2001. This decision was made to ensure the safety and well being of patients and staff at medical centers throughout the Department of Defense.

In addition, the U.S. Postal Service is no longer accepting "Any Service Member" or "Any Wounded Service Member" letters or packages. Mail to "Any Service Member" that is deposited into a collection box will not be delivered. Instead of sending an "Any Wounded Soldier" letter or package to Walter Reed, please consider making a donation to one of the more than 300 nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping our troops and their families listed on the America Supports You website. How do I send christmas cards to injured military people?
You can send cards to "any Marine" or "Any Soldier" US military.

We get them every year.

That is a link about Walter Reed.

Also, as a military family member, I have been told that "any soldier" mail will not be accepted.

You might want to do as the writer of the blog has suggested and and find a veteran's organization in your area, such as the VFW, there are a lot of veterans that would love to be the recipient of such a thoughtful gesture.
