We were there for Christmas and were amazed by the number of them everywhere. Where do they go after Christmas? What does Disney do with all the poinsettas after Christmas? It would be in keeping with Disney’s commitment to the environment to donate or recycle them. Most likely there is a mechanism in place to compost all old landscaped plants. What does Disney do with all the poinsettas after Christmas?I would assume that they unplant the flowers and turn them into dirt or even fertilizer to use for planting again. Maybe they put them in some sort of compost pile and wait another year to plant the new poinsettias. Lol! It's kind of the same scenario with the Giant Gingerbread House they build at the Grand Floridian for Christmas. There was a special program on the Food Network about all these giant yummy food models at Disney World and it was so cool! I'm wondering what they do with the leftovers!
Here is a fun video on the construction of the House. Enjoy
