Which is better for Christmas food items - Hickory Farms or Swiss Colony?

I am wanting to purchase some various Christmas foods - sausage and cheese gift sets, petit fours, and butter toffee. Which company is the best out there?



I've heard Swiss Colony, Hickory Farms and Williams-Sonoma are all good, but I would really like to hear from someone who has had some experience with more than one food item catalog company. Hickory Farms and Swiss Colony are okay but consider that you can get the same thing, packaged different in your local grocery store and a much more reasonable price when it comes to the sausage and cheese balls.



I went on ask.com and typed in recipes for petit fours and there were many to choose from. Never had Williams-Sonoma.Which is better for Christmas food items - Hickory Farms or Swiss Colony?Ick. I wouldn't buy from either one. My favs are Zingermans and Improptu Gourmet.
