What toys should I get my gerbils for Christmas?

It is almost Christmas and I want to know what to get them because I never made my gerbils a Christmas list. So if you could give me some suggestion. What toys should I get my gerbils for Christmas?Try Pets At Home if you are in the UK - I think it is called Petco in the US.

They sell sea saws (though how your gerbils would use it remains to be seen!), thick plastic wheels (I know you should try not to put plastic in a gerbil case, but a plastic wheel is the best option if it is thick and solid as they can't trap their tail in it), mini gerbil playgrounds!, they sell other toys too, BUT steer clear of anything made from pine or cedar wood (EVEN if it says it is suitable for gerbils, because ANYTHING with pine or cedar wood is NOT suitable for gerbils - it can kill them).

Try a grasshouse. Don't get ideas about how they are going to use it as a nest though from the picture on the box - they WILL chew it to pieces in less than a day - but they will have fun! Try chew veg (pet stores and Wilkinsons)- it may not help their teeth (you need wooden stuff for that and a mineral stone), but they will LOVE chewing it!

Try a large hamster ball (one with enough ventilation that they can't get any digits/tails trapped in it), but NEVER leave them in it for more than half an hour.

Buy a box of mealworms (pet stores/Home Bargains/Wilkinsons) BUT make sure they are NOT bait meal worms! Give them as a Christmas treat (I know it's disgusting but you can buy them dried and gerbils usually love them - be careful with your fingers though when feeding them - they usually REALLY love the mealworms, and your finger will get bit if you're not careful when giving them one).

Buy some gerbil yoghurt drops and some gerbil chocolate drops (NEVER use human chocolate). However, there is NO guarantee that they will like them!

I'm sure I've seen gerbil Christmas stockings online somewhere too (like the dog and cat ones).

Try this: put your choclate drops/yoghurt drops etc (not too many, remember it's a TREAT) in a small cardboard box with no print on it. Wrap it up in clean unbleached unused paper. Finally, use a bit of their bedding (usually paper or vegetable parchment, as well as obviously, sawdust) as a ribbon - tie it into one.

Now put it in their cage/tank on Christmas Day and watch them open their present! By open, I mean chew! But it will be chewed open and they can get to their presents! What toys should I get my gerbils for Christmas?
I meant to say wood shavings not sawdust. Lol I always say that wrong.

Well get them some flavored blocks, tubes to run in, maybe a new wheel or add another one, new treats and foods, colorful bedding for the holiday, and an alfalfa nest thing they will love that. Oh, I used to do that! Get them things like treats. Do they have wheels? Gerbils like that as much as mice, I used to have gerbils. Also, they love places where they can run up. Like a cage with two floors. Then put toilet paper in the 'upstairs' but keep the 'upstairs' closed up. They would love a new cage like that, unless you already have one.
