How can I hang Christmas lights on my roof without using a staple gun? My family and I just bought a new set of lights because the old ones were a definite fire hazard. The new ones don't have clips on them. well you can get this special tape im not sure what its called but it is fire repelant meaning that i wont start a fire and you can tape down the wire part and the roof and when the lights go on you would not be able to see the tape

you can just use a staple gun . it might be easier buh yu might not be able to get the staples out.

Get some plastic clips or if you can't find any get some bigger staples. Like the industrial sized ones.
go to lowes or home depot they have these little things that connect onto your roof without destroying like staple guns.
You will find clips at your hardware store. Hang them from your eaves-trough or where the wall meets the soffit.
I guess you could climb on your roof and use the lights with hooks on them...
