Any ideas of easy Christmas ornaments to make with an 8 and 9 year old?

I am a Nanny and was thinking of doing a Christmas ornament craft with the kids. I'm looking for something cheap, easy and quick because these kids have a low attention span!Any ideas of easy Christmas ornaments to make with an 8 and 9 year old?My kids and I so enjoyed making these these chubby gingerbread men ornaments and wintry mitten ornaments.



Because they are made of felt they are very inexpensive to create but super cute as well. I have to admit I think the gingerbread man is my fav but both were winners with my kids.

Last year i made little ginger bread men for our tree. We just used brown felt and fabric glue... its the kind that is colored and stands up real nice.

i just cut out the shape of the gingerbread men and then drew on faces and buttons with the glue things.



you could also get construction paper and do the paper ring garland. very easy and cheap. glue and paper doesnt get much easier.

If you have cards you've saved from last year, have them trace and cut out trees, circles, etc. Place 2 similar scenes back to back and glue together. Paste ribbon around the edge of the circle. Or put glue here and there and add glitter. Punch a hole punch and add a ribbon for hanging.Any ideas of easy Christmas ornaments to make with an 8 and 9 year old?
Clothespeg reindeers. We did those with brownies. A quick google search should bring up a few different versions.
One of our favorites is to make bead candy canes - all you need are pipe cleanees and bead that stack (either the flower looking ones or the tri beads) - Make a teeny loop in the end of the pipe cleaner, add on the beads (alternating colors), and make another little loop at the end.
