What are the advantages to a live Christmas tree vs. fake tree?

Me and my mother have only used fake trees on Christmas and take a half hour tops to put up. Other people don't want anything less than a living tree, but that seems harder to me because you have to get a new tree every year, go out and get it, bring it in the house whole, and water it everyday. That seems like a hassle to me. All we do is bring in the parts, put the parts together and voila! Christmas tree we can use for years. So why would you opt for a live tree?What are the advantages to a live Christmas tree vs. fake tree?I have always used a fake tree until a few years ago and I think live trees are so much better. I think its so much fun to go pick one out and I think they are so much prettier. Although they are a little bit messy, they smell wonderful! Over all I think that they enhance the christmas cheer and make the holiday all the more fun!

I'm not stepping on needles for months on end or worrying about water and fire hazards. Well people like live trees because it gives the home a pine fresh natural scent that reminds them of christmas.
