How to convince your parents to buy you something expensive for Christmas?

I am 14 years old and i play the clarinet. Im in the band at my school and placed high for our chairs and am now thinking about going into music. Since it is concert season everyone switches from their crappy clarinets to their nice wooden ones. I really want this Buffet E-11 clarinet that is about $830. I know i am going to use it all through high school and possibly college. How do I convince my parents to get it for me as a christmas gift? How to convince your parents to buy you something expensive for Christmas?Take a year and play the clarinet that the school gave you- I know you got one, Miss Buffoon! Make a deal with your parents that you'll go 50/50 with them on the payments, then take a year and save up as much money as you can. I'm talking birthday money, christmas money, the nickels and dimes your grammy gives you as 'spending money,' extra change left over from buying lunch- EVERYTHING. Trust me, it'll add up.

They'll be so impressed at your maturity level as a freshman that you probably won't even need the full amount, they'll pay the rest anyway. You won't get your clarinet for Christmas, but you will get it in time to use it for the other 3 years of high school and all of college that you need it. But I swear if I see you marching with that thing, I'll beat your butt!!How to convince your parents to buy you something expensive for Christmas?
