Help paraphrasing a couple of lines?

I need some help paraphrasing a couple of lines. Any help would be greatly appreciated:

The population of our planet will quickly reach a point where there will not be adequate amount of resources to support life on Earth. Population control must be enforced to avoid such a catastrophic occurrence. Many economic, social and environmental problems are either affiliated with or are increased due to overpopulation. With an exponentially increasing world population, the problems created by overpopulation grow correspondingly.

-thanksHelp paraphrasing a couple of lines?I added something at the begining which I thought was a good statistic to include

The human population on our planet has increased tremendously over the last 200 years. So much so, that only 40 years ago, we had less than half the people on Earth than we have here today. If this continues, there will not be enough resources on Earth to support life. There are many problems associated with overpopulation including economic, environmental, and social. Control of the population must be enforced or there will be catastrophic consequences.Help paraphrasing a couple of lines? The exponential rise in world poulation, if left unchecked, will create ever-increasing economic, social and enviromental problems, as resources are exhausted.

I think you can jettison the rest as it just restates the argument.
