A Surreptitious Environmental Catastrophe - The Desert Will Win?

Environmental catastrophes and all other related evils such as climatic changes, destruction of the ozone layer, water pollution, famines, energy shortages, epidemics, disease, xenophobia, racism, discrimination against women, child abuse, torture of animals, discord among mankind, war and crime, etc. etc., have been predestined to occur for many decades now. To what can all of these disasters really be attributed, however? Indisputably, their sole and exclusive cause is mankind's lifeopposing, continuously growing overpopulation problem, for it subsequently forces an increased need for everything one can imagine. This steadily escalating demand for greater production results in increasingly greater, endless, insurmountable disasters. Insurmountable, since remedial efforts to resolve each problem are usually only very half-hearted in order to enable politicians, the industrial leaders and others to preserve their positions; additionally, these people are given immense funds which, of course, they funnel into their own pockets. Likewise, attempts to alleviate environmental ills are usually nothing more than senseless efforts to combat the symptoms of the situation and are nothing more than an exercise in futility, for none of the adversities are cut out at the root and destroyed. Instead, the symptoms are merely apathetically attacked in a lackluster manner to keep up pretenses for the public. Thus, much more serious adversities in both the near and distant future are predestined to occur in every way even today.

I'm with moe on this one. If you think all those catastrophies and evils are only recent events, "predestined for many decades now," you are completely ignorant of human history. There have been wars, famines, discrimination against woment, etc, etc, etc, since the beginning of our species! Hello?

I clicked on your link, and, as expected, your diatribe was a simple cut and paste job. But you left out the most important part. What are we to do? what is the solution?

"The same also holds true for famines, which for many decades and centuries have repeatedly reeled across the Earth. In the future they will become more devastating due to the incessant increases in population, which, above all else, is THE source of every terrestrial adversity and catastrophe. This disaster must be curtailed through a worldwide, relentless program to halt births, and then be diminished through intentional and international global birth control, until the human population of roughly 529 million people is reestablished --- a population that is compatible with the planet's size and with nature."

I've heard this before, "we must get the population down to X or the world is doomed." The only question is, who gets to decide the makeup of those 529 million people? Your organization is proposing a 90% reduction in the human population, so which 10% get to stay?

I have a better idea. I say let the famine come and let the strong, the adaptible ones survive. Period. Let nature decide.A Surreptitious Environmental Catastrophe - The Desert Will Win?
The world is even more threatened by pompous morons. Really.

Obfuscation of fables culminates in collective lunacy.A Surreptitious Environmental Catastrophe - The Desert Will Win?Have you had your vasectomy yet? If not, then you are simply part of the problem.A Surreptitious Environmental Catastrophe - The Desert Will Win?
Insurmountable....predestined...?

You sound very much like a fatalist.

Nothing is achieved or resolved with such an attitude.

Anyway, I am always amused at those who champion population reduction.

If they had the conviction of their morals, they would do the honourable thing and jump off a cliff.

Re your additional comments...

You don't have children.....then why are you concerned about the future of the planet?A Surreptitious Environmental Catastrophe - The Desert Will Win?THE CALL ALWAYS BRINGS A STRUGGLE TO THE HEARER . )Chaos web are His response to effective measures to tackle climate change . The encounter alone with God bring fear and trepidation, but God desires acceptance of HIS Call.

The reminder of past prophets of God comes to mind once more: Moses’ reluctance to lead the people of God in Exodus 4:10: “Moses said to the Lord, “O lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.” And of Isaiah’s efforts to spurn Yahweh’s initiatives (Isa. 6:5) “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, The Lord almighty.”

2. BUT!!! Yahweh will not take no for an answer!! His response to Moses in Exodus 4:11: “The Lord said to him, “Who have man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, The Lord?” In response to Isaiah in 6: 6%26amp;7: “Then one of the seraphs flew to me and a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”let`s roll"A Surreptitious Environmental Catastrophe - The Desert Will Win?
Predestined to occur for many decades now? Have you read any history books, have you read the history of climate change on earth.

From the dawn of man humans have suffered from environmental catastrophes and other related evils. The only thing different between today and when these events occured in the past is the percieved cause.

Humanitarian Aid has failed for one simple reason, they only address the symptoms and never do anything to solve the problem, or they misplace the cause of the problem. They ignore the restrictions imposed by nature that have seen civilizations come and go and do not allow any popullation to thrive in an area they claim can sustain the population. They ignore the regular pattern of drought or flood in the area and point the finger to there new invisible God in the sky preaching that CO2 brought into this world to harm you by western civilization is the reason for your suffering.

They provide food and water to sustain them until the next annual or decadal drought or flood happens. In the past it was blamed on the Gods, in reality they live on the edge of a desert that's been expanding for millenia or on flood planes that created the earth beneath there feet. They ignore religious in fighting, and ignorance of a popullace that allows themselves to be ruled over by murderous tyranical dictators who subjegate the people to poverty, war, famine and disease, claiming climate change is the problem, instead of addressing the real problem and overthrowing the tyrants and building an infrastructure to sustain the population. They go hungry feeding gods and idols, then turn to developed countries crying for help and blaming them for the inequities in the world.

I'm not sure you actually have a question unless it's perhaps whether or not you have a grasp on reality. I think you do, unfortunately it's an altered version of reality thats been nurtured by your view of inequality in the world and the need to place blame on you're own species.
