How much does it cost to decorate your home with Christmas lights??

I've never thrown Christmas before and have no idea how much all the lights for the outside will cost.Just want aballpark figure...............How much does it cost to decorate your home with Christmas lights??I live in an apartment and have lights in all of my windows, plus a tree. I keep them on from about 5:00 - 11:00 every night and my elelctric bill is about $100 a month.



If you act quickly, you can probably get strings of 100 bulbs for under $1 on after Christmas clearance. Good luck trying to find icicle lights though as those disappear very quickly after the holidays.How much does it cost to decorate your home with Christmas lights??

put it this way i just payed a nearly four hundred pound electric bill before christmas ,and i wouldnt want the cost of all them lights on the after christmas bill ,,,,,,,How much does it cost to decorate your home with Christmas lights??I paid about $4 a box for mine,but if you bought them now they would be much cheaper since Christmas is over with and the sales are on. Ballpark figure was around $40 for all the lights just to line the roof of the house,including the clips to hold them to the shingles along the roof's edge,and one extension cord.
