Explain what this environmental science statement means please..?

Most problems with scientific data gathered in Ecology is the "scale", both spatial and temporal. Explain what this statement means.Explain what this environmental science statement means please..?The statement means that the data is too limited to be of any value.

Spatial scale problems is referring to the problem with data collected over an entire planet doesn't tell you anything useful in the end. On the other hand, if you limit the data to a specific square yard, it isn't useful, either.

Temporal problems means that taking data over a long period of time may lead to a conclusion that there is a single cycle of pattern. Too short a period can do the same thing, or even worse, mis-identify the direction of the cyclical pattern. For example, if you took two readings, both on July 1 of sequential years, you'd miss the entire seasonal cycle. If you took two temperature readings on sequential days in December, it's possible that the second would be higher, suggesting you could sell your warm coat.
