i have been reading up on this word and the holiday (which we know comes from paganism - we still do a lot of it), but did you know this?

All that being said, do I celebrated Christmas? Yes. Its the one time of the year that my job lets me stay home and get paid and I get to see all of my family and exchange gifts. Christmas is a pagan holiday. And yes, I, as a non believer celebrate it. It really has nothing to do with Christianity or the celebration of Christ. It's a purely commercialized holiday. I celebrate to give and receive gifts and spend time with family.
I know of a few who are non-religous, but celibrate Christmas. It's the spirir of the holiday in general. It has nothing to do with getting more loot.

You should realise that you are very blessed, and that there are some people out there that won't even have a place to sleep, or anything to eat on Christmas.... why don't you ask for someone to donate money in your name to a homless shelter, or some other Charity....
